Installations

The transverse between light, sound and sight of a musician’s musical mind: The exclusive space to see music. This installation exposes experiential layers of external and internal moments. A mass fractured to expose light projected by the sound of the beat. Pushing what is solely auditory to the masses (only seen by the musician) into a visual expression that now can be seen by all. A glimpse into the multi sensory acoustical fantasia.

The vision from the exterior form is raw, tactile, partially dismantled and damaged. The approach to the exterior allows a peek of light through the fragmented megalith. Positioned in the corner to create movement between the gallery walls. This creates a temporary portal, transporting the users into the internal to see music. Provoking curiosity by the vibration and light. Both entrances are covered, enhancing the transition from one space to another.

A space between the gallery walls and rough façade that has been distorted. The internal form is clad in a nostalgic reflective material intended to create visible sound. Speakers bump and oscillate sound which disrupts the forms cladding, while light from below reflects onto the gallery floor and walls following the bass of the musician's beats from it’s music. This projection shows layers of prismatics against the shadows of the form, polarizing the digital light with synchronized sounds upon the gallery wall as they perform.
